Fr. Sean O'Sullivan Role: Pastor Length of Time at St. Procopius: First year
Mr. Adam Dufault Role: Principal Length of Time at St. Procopius: 9 years Mr. Dufault began his teaching career at St. Procopius School and has enjoyed his role in helping the unique dual-language program flourish. He has taught in almost every grade level between Kinder and 8th, coached championship basketball teams, and served as assistant principal before taking on the role of Principal in 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C., a Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University in River Forest, and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Dominican University, as well as Illinois Type 03 and 75 certifications. He has also participated in extensive training in dual-language education through the Illinois Resource Center. Mr. Dufault sits on the Curriculum Committee and on the Catholic Identity Committee of the Archdiocese of Chicago. He is honored to serve the St. Procopius School community and truly loves coming to School everyday.

Ms. Estela Sandoval Role: Teacher, Pre-K Group B (4 year olds) Length of Time at St. Procopius: 8 years La maestra Estela realizó sus estudios en educación Pre-escolar en Colombia y trabaja en la escuela San Procopio desde el año 2004 como maestra de Pre-kinder. Es una maestra que le gusta todo lo relacionado con la educación por lo que ha realizado otros estudios como Licenciatura en administración educativa y una especialización en Educación Personalizada. Tiene 22 años trabajando con las escuelas católicas y está de acuerdo con la filosofía y metas de estas porque les proporcionan a los estudiantes un equilibrio en sus destresas y habilidades en un ambito social, cultural y religioso basado en valores para enfrentarse positivamente a la sociedad. Además, ha trabajado en diferentes clubes en el transcurso de los años, como arte, danza y coro de la escuela que proporcionan un contacto personal con la comunidad educativa y de padres de familia.
Ms. Nohemi Ruiz Role: Teacher, Kindergarten Length of Time at St. Procopius: 13 years "Estudie la carrera de Educación en la Ciudad de México. Me gustan mucho los niños y tengo un gran interés en desarrollar el potencial de mis estudiantes, dedico gran parte de mi tiempo en elaborar mis planes de clase con el objetivo de motivar a mis estudiantes para que puedan tener éxito académicamente. Me gusta evaluar con evidencias genuinas en donde mis estudiantes me muestren con varias oportunidades lo que han aprendido. Tengo 12 años trabajando en la Escuela San Procopio con niños y niñas de Kinder. Esta escuela me ha dado muchas buenas experiencias que han contribuido a mi crecimiento profesional; como escuela católica ha aumentado mi fe la cual me ha ayudado a reafirmar mis valores."
Ms. Maria Torres Role: Teacher, 1st Grade (Spanish) Length of Time at St. Procopius: 4 years Maria Torres es la Maestra de español en primer grado. Ella es mexicana pero tiene viviendo en Chicago 6 años. Ella obtuvo el título de Licenciatura en Educación y un Asociado en Computación en su país. Tiene 3 años trabajando en la Escuela San Procopio, la cual le encanta porque tiene un maravilloso programa de dual-language.
Ms. Veronica Aranda Role: Teacher, 2nd Grade (Spanish) Length of Time at St. Procopius: 7 years "I am from Cuernavaca, Morelos. I am proud to be teaching in the St. Procopius School community. Being an educator allows me to share my heritage, my religion, and my favorite class subjects with my students. One of the greatest rewards of my career is that moment when a student says 'Oh! Now I get it! Now I understand it!' I have been teaching for many years and in many different grades, but my favorite grade is second."
Ms. Anna Milanowski Role: Teacher, K-1-2 English Length of Time at St. Procopius: 3 years "I am excited to be returning to St. Procopius School for a second year! I graduated from the University of Michigan with concentrations in Spanish and Political Science. What I appreciate most about St. Procopius School is our celebration of our students' culture."
Ms. Guizela Solis Role: Teacher, 3rd/4th Spanish Length of Time at St. Procopius: 11 years
Ms. Rebecca Loduca Role: Teacher, 3rd/4th English Length of Time at St. Procopius: 6 years "I, myself, am a native Chicagoan and the product of Catholic education. I attended Catholic grammar and high school, then received my undergraduate degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have always felt a great passion for serving others, and this led me to a year of volunteer work with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps. Following this experience, I attended Loyola University Chicago and earned my teaching certification and my Master of Education degree. I truly value Catholic education and believe that it provides students with values and guides them in decision making throughout life. I have enjoyed my time at St. Procopius School and am always amazed by the energy within the community. I believe that my role as a teacher is not only to give students academic information, but also to help them develop thinking skills, be creative and understand how to be a respectful and participating member of a community. It is very exciting to see students develop, improve, and gain confidence in their abilities over the course of each year. Aside from classroom work, St. Procopius School gives students the opportunity to develop talents through clubs and projects for school celebrations. The students' excitement for these activities contributes to the enthusiasm that can be felt throughout our school community."
Ms. Beatriz Martinez Role: Teacher, 5th/6th Spanish Length of Time at St. Procopius: 11 years "Hi! My name is Beatriz Martinez, though my students know me as Maestra Betí. I love to work with my students because they are a big part of my life. I consider St. Procopius School to be my second home and my extended family. I am excited to spend a great school year with my community here at the school. I believe that starting the year with a positive attitude and good attendance will make for a great year of learning!"
Ms. Irieri Herndon Role: Teacher, 5th/6th English Length of Time at St. Procopius: 2 years "I grew up in Mexico City (D.F.) and moved to Omaha, Nebraska at a young age. I received my undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Omaha. I am very excited to be part of the great dual-language program that I wish I could have been a part of as a child."
Mr. Marcelo Yunda Role: Teacher, 7th/8th Spanish Length of Time at St. Procopius: 14 years "St. Procopius School has had many positive changes in the last 14 years, and I am proud to say that I was there from the very beginning, helping to establish curriculums and also helping to develop the one and only dual-language program in the Archdiocese of Chicago. I was born in Ambato, Ecuador. I hold a degree in Education with a major in mathematics. I also have a Bilingual Teaching Certificate. I look forward to another school year full of challenges and hope that our program will continue to grow for the good of our local Latino school community."
Mr. Brian O'Rourke Role: Teacher, 7th/8th English Length of Time at St. Procopius: 4 years Mr. O'Rourke grew up in River Forest, Illinois. He attended St. Luke School, Fenwick High School, and Dominican University. Mr. O is in his 4th year teaching 7th and 8th grade students at St. Procopius School.
Mr. James Baird Role: Physical Education Teacher Length of Time at St. Procopius: 3 years "I am very excited about teaching our students about fitness and teamwork at St. Procopius School. In addition to teaching, I am a life coach and fitness instructor. I am very happy to use my skills in these areas to make a difference in the lives of our students."
Ms. Zenita Laws Role: Technology Teacher Length of Time at St. Procopius: 2 years "I am very excited to join the St. Procopius family as a technology instructor. I began my teaching career at Epiphany Elementary School, where I continue to teach in the mornings. I am a Chicago native and a huge Cubs fan. I went to college at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I studied Criminology and Law Studies and Psychology. I plan to return to school in the future to complete my Masters Degree and continue teaching. I am looking forward to expanding my teaching career at St. Procopius and I am eager to meet more members of the community."

Ms. Patricia Grijalva Role: Aide, PK-A Length of Time at St. Procopius: 5 years "I was born in Ecuador and have lived in Chicago for almost 14 years. I would describe myself as a very friendly, sociable person. I always like to give a smile! I love to work with children, and am honored to be part of the St. Procopius School community because I have had the opportunity to meet many nice people that have given me the support that I believe everyone needs and deserves. I always put forth my best effort everyday for my students!"
Ms. Diana Marquez Role: Aide, PK-B Length of Time at St. Procopius: 3 years "I was born in Mexico but raised in Chicago from a very young age. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Bilingual/Bicultural and Elementary Education from NEIU because I believe in the importance of being bilingual. I have taught CCD at my local parish for the past 9 years. Starting my second year at St Procopius School, I feel blessed to be part of a team that not only focuses on a child's academics but also his or her spirituality. I am even more excited and feel right at home because this school also believes in learning and maintaining two languages, just as I do."

I love the opportunity to work with a great school and the wonderful dual-language program. I am excited to help children develop their bilingual skills.
